60 indigenous delegates from the Barents Euro-Arctic Region will meet in Kirkenes on Ferbuary 4th, to discuss proper representation of indigenous peoples in the formal Barents cooperation.
60 indigenous delegates from the Barents Euro-Arctic Region will meet in Kirkenes on February 4th, to discuss proper representation of indigenous peoples in the formal Barents cooperation.
The Working Group of Indigenous Peoples is the current body, in which the Nenets, the Saami and the Vepsians are represented, and the WGIP has a consultative status to both the Barents Euro-Arctic Council and the Barents Regional Council.
