Yasavey 20th anniversary

Yasavey is the Public Association of Nenets people in Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and the indigenous NGO celebrates its 20th anniversary on December 12th 2009. Events are planned in Naryan-Mar for the entire weekend.

December 11th:

13.00    Summary of children's drawing competition (Yasavey's office)

14.00    Opening of photo exhibition "Yasavey ahead" (Exhibition hall, Smidovicha street)

15.00    Opening of the photo exhibition by Dr. Leonid Zubov (Museum exhibition hall, Tyko Vylko street)

16.00    Meeting of Board of Yasavey and Yasavey Board of Elders, and Governor and Speaker of the regional duma (Yasavey's office)

18.00    Gala concert - the Nenets song competition (Sports hall)

December 12th:

12.00    Round table "Yasavey - the road until now, challenges and perspectives" (tbd)

14.00    Ceremony with slideshow from the 1st Yasavey congress (tbd)

17.00    Presentation of the new book by Irina Khanzerova (Njenetskaya Sentralnaya Biblioteka)

20.00    Ceremony and banquet (tbd)

December 13th:

11.00    Presentation of the project (IPY MODIL-NAO)

14.00    Excursion to the Nenets museum (Pobedy street)
